Extra help: For every 100g, approximately 30-40g will be bone. Example: 250g of turkey neck will be made up of approximately 75g - 100g bone and the remainder of the 250g would be 150g - 175g meat.

To calculate bone content for any size portion using a calculator - multiply the weight of portion (in grams) by 0.4 - the answer displayed on calculator will be the bone content in grams.

Example: To calculate approx bone in 100g of Turkey Neck, enter into calculator - 100 x 0.4 = (The Answer Displayed will be 40) - this means 100g of Turkey Neck will contain approx 40g of bone.
